Well I'm hooking up the trailer this morning and heading for Long Island by noon. Going to pick up a 92 Vette from Browns speed shop. Perry the owner and I have struck a deal to trade the vette for my enclosed trailer. Since I bought the car hauler last fall I don't really need to keep the trailer around. I don't like to keep an enclosed trailer over 3-4 years when they are being stored outside here in Michigan. Even when they are not driven they show signs of corrision and weather in general. I have actually never owned a vette. Years ago I have the opportunity to drive a 65 roadster for an entire summer as my roommate lost his license and we worked together so I drove everyday. This car was a 365hp/327ci 4 speed and I must say by the end of summer I was really tired of driving the car everyday. The clutch was a pain in the rear and it rode like a hay wagon.
I'm in hopes this 92 will be a much nicer ride for an old gentleman like me.
Hope to be back on Sat. to see my grandkids.
Also I plan to attend the car show at Culver's on Mon. the 31st. Hope to see some of you there.
Enjoy the weekend, forespeed
