What did you do to your garage today?

or this weekend?

well friday nite was the usual every other friday nite drink beer nite in the garage.

saturday I spent some time out there cleaning up the garage.

I had a 2004 gas dryer that I had been waiting for the people that we sold it to too come and pick it up since way before christmas time.
well I got tired of it taken up room in my garage and hauled it to the road with for FREE!
I made it back up to the garage 15 minutes before someone in a pickup trck stoped and picked it up.

aired up the tires in the car trailer.
replaced some light bulbs on the trailer....(wow!! I do not get out much)
them things cost a few bucks now DAYS!

Friend from the site came over with his son and we took off to his place to pick up sons car to bring back to my place to work on it.

we took some old shop lights that I took down from my garage and took those out to the road as well.
and as we where taking them out there I jokenly said "I bet the guy that took the dryer will see them and say why did you not have them out here the first time I drove by"

as we made it back in to the garage I was told that someone matching the discription of the first guy was picking them up,I thought that was funny.
I put the charger on trickly charge on my truck while I was out in the garage.

came back home with friends sons car.
girl friend's (...opps now fiancée since 4-1-11) parents where over to have dinner and later play cards,so I got the grill going.
so then it was 7&7 time!!
oh and started truck up for the first time in 2011.

today...did some more cleaning up.

Friday I put insurance back on my pick-up. I have to go to the gas station to get gas in a can. I don't remember parking it on empty but the needle is below the empty mark on the gauge. H-M-M-M You don't think someone stole it do you? lol Have a big project for the explorer. Changing the u-joints in the Front Differential. Plus some other things I would like to do do it. I'm just glad nice weather is on it's way. So I can work outside .

Charged the battery in the Z/28, started it and let it warm up, then drove up and down the driveway spinning the tires a few times and listening to the flomaster exhaust. Then started the corvette and let it warm up. the passenger door mechanism was sticking so I took the door panel off and sprayed wd40 on to the mechanism and moved the parts with a screw driver until it loosened up. now the lock works and the inside handle works , but I still have to work on the outside handle. Then I redyed the seats with leather dye, they came out pretty good but will need a second coat. Wiped the dust off the outside with a micro fiber cloth. Then dug the grill out of the garage and grilled chicken for dinner. I love the warmer weather and the chance to be outside.
