water base paint

has anyone used this?
if so how do you like it?
how well does the paint last on the car?
anythings different that you have to do when painting with it?
can you paint this in the home garage?
or is it a pro only type of paint?

I'm curious too. Ten years ago, I remember all the Cali-based mags touting it as the replacement for lacquers and enamels, but it seems that something even more harmful to people (but less volatile), caught on instead.

Water BASE paint just what it is. A basecoat, must be top coated with a clearcoat. It is sprayed like normal basecoat. I have not used it yet, we dont use it wher I work. Some shops in the TRY-CITYS do, MCDONALDS,GARBER-MIDLAND and some others. The base must air dry,its all about air movement & tempt. around the car.The wormer the faster. The clear is normal automotive clear topcoat. Yes you can spray it at home. Hope this helps ya out.
