RetroKits Turns 2010 Camaro Into 1969 Look-a-Like LINK HERE
"Imitation is the greatest form of flattery," so the saying goes. In the car world, both automakers and independent aftermarket shops often look to the past to influence the future. And many people have taken their favorite classic cars, and modernized them in a way that pays tribute to both the past and present. But in this particular case, the influence of older Camaros may have gotten a little out of hand.
Take for example this
Innovation RetroKits front-end body kit, which transforms a 2010 Camaro into a 1969 Camaro…sorta.
Innovation RetroKits is one of those companies that makes parts to convert modern cars into looking like their classic cousins. Mostly, their focus has been on converting trucks and full-size cars into clones. Recently though, they got into the muscle car game, and their first victim was the 2010 Camaro. While the 2010 Camaro certainly pays homage to the original Camaro, it isn’t nearly as retro as say, the Challenger. At least until you add their RetroKit front end to it.

The RetroKit draws its styling from the 1969 RS Camaro with hideaway headlights. The ground effects kit makes the car look lower, while actual lowering springs drop the car 1 inch. 20” Rocket Booster wheels fill the wheel wells, and RetroKits will even throw on some performance mods, like full-length headers and low-restriction catalytic converters. Retrokits will build and instill this kis for about
$50,000, including the cost of the Camaro SS! While we may not love the looks, we can’t complain about the price (keeping in mind a fully-loaded SS costs nearly $40,000). Plus, it would be one unique showpiece!
