Traffic snarled on State Street
http://www.mlive.com/news/saginaw/index ... stree.htmlSAGINAW TWP. — The number of customers flowing through the drive-thru at Tim Horton’s slowed as traffic snarled on State Street while crews tore up an westbound lane and nearly as quickly began paving over it.
We’re quite a bit slower this morning,” said store Manager Susan Rolka. “A lot of our customers are complaining. Hopefully, it won’t be too long.”
Road crews began work on the commercial corridor grinding out an westbound lane that slowed hundreds of motorists during the morning drive Monday. The work stretches from west of Glendale to Midland Road, or the entire stretch in Saginaw Township.
State Department of Transportation spokeswoman Anita Richardson said crews will complete the resurfacing of the six-lane highway
by the Fourth of July.
