I'm not dissing on the man
I enjoyed reading about him running the first 200 MPH in a DOORSLAMER
and I got to meet Him at super chevy shows since 1989.
he seemed nice and a hard worker.
but what happened at Norwalk Ohio 1995.....
I was there, and I was in his pits....and just the look on his face....it did not look like the normal him.
he and his whole crew kinda watched me as I was checking out there car....like I do on every car I check out in the pits.
and it was even more strange when they fired it up,it did not sound right, and it had a different smell to it.....
I duno...it was just a fuuny feeling that things where not right.
then as the last qualifying session was going on he went to #1 spot.
and his car did not return to the pits right away I figured something was up.
then later when I went down in the pits to check out his car it was gone.
later I walked up to Scotty Cannon and asked where did he go???
Scotty told me "that they found something on the car and he is out of here."
well thats the last I saw of him untill years latter at a super chevy show,he was running nitro coupe then.
still nice as Hell
