Replacing A Compressor Drain With A Ball Valve

I really like this idea. The block of wood part looks like it would defeat the purpose though. That would make the water flow to the end, where there is no drain. I think my compressor is a little higher off the ground then that one. Or a tubing 90 is shorter than that street elbow.
