Saginaw Street and Strip

I use either jegs,or summit.
and a few local speed shops in the area.
compitition enterprise speed shop in Saginaw,MI.
and cirlcle auto parts,Freeland,MI.

Jegs, Compitition Bill on S.Michigan in Saginaw or Rogers Crank Shaft a mechine shop on S. M-52 in St. Charles he usally gives me pretty good deals that's where i bought my rotating assembly and had him balance it and a few other things for the 505ci.

Isn't bill closed now, or did he just move?

I heard he had his liquidation sale - but I didn't dare darken his door.
Would have had to use plastic..and that's just not wise right now.

I tell you what.
I have not bought speed parts in 3 years now,and do you know who still sends me a catalog?

so you know who I'm going to order from when I do need some stuff!

Its been 5 years since i have ordered anything from Jegs and still get a catalog from them and 7 years since i have ordered from Summit and still recieve a catalog from them . And now i probably buy 99.9% of my speed parts from my buddys speed shop ( Race and Performance parts) he meets or beats both Summit and Jegs prices and has me the parts as quick or quicker and probably has 85 % of what i need in stock. Plus his knowledge is awesome of putting together a well performing combination .. He picked my engine combination with me and gave me a prediction of what it would run ..... over the years he has allways been almost dead on with what certain combinations will run . He said this newest combination would run 9.86 @136mph and it went 9.84@ 136 mph .... Not bad for a little guy with a little speed shop ..... he knows his stuff when it comes to putting together a winning combination ...Plus doing it on a budget too ...... How many 3400 lb cars do you know with a $6,500 engine running 9.84 @ 136 mph without the nitrous ??? lol And its only a stock 1978 454 block 2 bolt .060 over (468)
