Saginaw Street and Strip

Hey folks! Just saw a link to this site from someone's post on yellowbullet.com. I am originally from St.Charles, grew up in Midland, and now living in Indianapolis workin on a fuel car for a living. Thought it was cool that there was a message board with folks from where I grew up so I figured I'd join. I currently am building a '91 Fox body with a small chevy. I live about 3/4 of a mile from IRP here in Indy so I got the itch to build something. Just figured I'd say hello. TJ

Yeah I'll get some pics when it actually looks like a car again:) I lived in the area from when I was born up until March of 2003. I came down here to work on Scotty Cannon's funny car for one season. I have been working on Brandon Bernstein's dragster since Dec. of the same year building cylinder heads. You hit the nail right on the head...it is a lot of work but it is a lot of fun. I actually look forward to going to work in the morning and you can't ask for much more than that.

Well on vacation til the 7th but plenty to do when we get back to work again! thanks for the well wishes. Yeah it's pretty cool. Brandon is a good kid and his dad is really probly one of the most stand up guys in the business. He's definitley one of the best to work for.

kinda sad to see kenny stepping down,but good to have a great driver like tommy johnson jr..
he will go far,they have great resourses.

yeah Dale and I have known each other for years and I kinda recruited him at the beginning of last year. Chris has been racing forever and Kim grew up around it so there are a few of us northerners out here racing.

Welcome Tim So i take you work in Brownsburg. You Did'nt have to drive one of the rigs for one of the fuel teams did you.take care and welcome again.

Yes driving the rig is one of my responsibilities. Don't work in Brownsburg quite yet though, as our new shop over there should be done in April or so. We're still in the city of Indianapolis.

Do you have a uncle Wayne that lives in Saginaw do you.
