How Many Still Change there own Oil??

how many use the 10 minute oil change places?

how many go to the local auto mechanic shop and have them do it?


how many go to the dealer?

myself....on my daily drivers I go to the local mechanic shop and let them do it.
on my truck I do it every other time......why you ask?....well that way I get a second set of eyes checking out my truck to make sure everything is ok.
and on race cars....come on...........I do the oil changes.....it's one of the easiest things to do on them!

I still change mine.

It is tough to do on the Caprice in my avatar because it sits so low, it's almost a two man job (someone to slide the jack in while the other picks up on the car). Taking the car up on a hoist is another story...

The last time I had someone else do it, it was a mechanic. I can't bring myself to trust the quick lube guys.

I change mine 14 quarts in the Ford truck.
