That's terrific... That's a excellent testimony to the mnaufactures on better tolerences. Plus, I think removing the lead from the gas helped to eliminate carbon build up. Hope you get another 3 hundred out of her. Did you use your phone? Or, are you carrying you Camera to capture the Kodak Moment? lol

at first I thought this was a pic of the Speedometer comming around again back to Zero!
I do this in my '90 chevy,it tops out at about 105 on the limiter, but has a lot more pedal to go.
but then I saw the gear indecator was in Park ...so then Ilooked around and saw the miles.

If I remember right I think the limiter kicks in at about 100, but she runs down the highway all day long at 79.
In a 70 zone. Tickets get a lot worse at 10 over.

Ken: You win! I don't think my 2000 Sonoma with the Vortec 2200 (iron duke) in it will ever see the 300000 mark. At least at the rate I'm going now. But, Personally I just don't think it would ever make it! That 300000 is unbelievable and it runs so strong yet. WOW!!

yeah but that ruck would make one sweet V8 swap. LS1, narrowed rear end would be cool.

Well today the old girl has 306,000 miles on her. But the transmission is bad again. I guess They only last about 140,000 miles. This last one was a jasper with a 3 year warranty, but that expired a year ago. Don't know yet if I will repair it or not.
