Pat Musi had the hard-core combo of the weekend: a 700-plus-inch nitrous engine with a sheetmetal intake and split Dominators. It was enough to take home the big check at the end of eliminations—but not before some breakage. This nitrous pop on Saturday night didn’t hurt nearly as much as had the violent nitrous explosion earlier in the day, sending pieces of the fiberglass hoodscoop into orbit around Pluto.
