Just got off the phone with Milan Dragway. Their 2nd Annual "DETROIT DRAGWAY REUNION" happens Saturday, May 21st. I will be an invited guest.
Not only will I be assisting their announcer with event coverage, we'll also be conducting appraisal inspections for those car owners wishing such service.
We'll tell stories from "the day", interview attending persons of the "geezer" class, conduct some benchracing sessions and - if there's time - bring some vintage cars out of the pits to conduct impromptu "Drag Racing History 101" seminars.
Should be great fun! Hope to see you there!
