I havent been on in a while but i just saw this and thought i would share what my lovely daughter did to me on 4/1/11 !!!
I woke up at my normal time, 5:00 am and went into the bathroom to take a shower only to find a manaquin with a mask on in the shower.
thats when it occured to me what day it was. I then went to warm up my car but couldnt find my keys, but i found my key fob and a note that said " If you want the rest of your keys look in the freezer". Yup they were in the freezer, inside a cup of water (now ice). Once I thawed my keys out I grabbed my lunch and went to my car...which was wrapped ENTIRELY in saran wrap! Went back into the house to get scissors, and also grabbed my package of cookies that I had forgotten. While driving to work i started eating my OREO'S which had the frosting removed and replaced with TOOTHPASTE !!! It actually took me eating two of the cookies before i realized they werent just mint flavored cookies.
It was quite an eventfull morning. That was it for the jokes of the day, but when I got to the party store that i stop at every morning, i asked if the pizza was coming out soon and the "kid" ( 20 something) at the counter leaned into the back room and said " That old guy that buy's pizza everyday is here" It was april fools day but he wasnt joking. I thought it was funny, it only stung a little. Great day...
